We are back (again) at the Dinky Drinky Box for the Overtone tap takeover. This was a particularly exciting day as Overtone is one of the most popular and respcted breweries on the craft beer scene.

It was also nice because it just so happened to be June and there is no better place to be in Cambridgeshire on a hot summers day than the Dinky Drinky Box. I won’t go into detail here, as I have sung their praises enough in previous reviews.

Overtone are Glasgow based, so it was quite a journey for them, which made me appreciate the event even more. It was nice to be able to chat to the team and get to know them in a casual setting over a few bevvies and a game of pool.

There was a great selection of diverse beers available ranging from heavy 10% TIPA’s all the way to humble lagers, with sours and IPA’s between. There was something for everyone here and would be perfect for anyone looking to start on their craft beer journey.
Prices were also very reasonable, which is another advantage of the Dinky Drinky Box, as there are few overheads. In fact, we recently completed a league table price board of a popular local craft beer and found that the Dinky Drinky Box is one of the cheapest places in Cambridgeshire.

As usual ice creams were being sold by a certain local resident and Tacoman made an appearance in his food van (full review here). This is also a dog friendly venue and a suitable place to bring the children.
Watch this space for the Cloudwater event on the 4th of August.
This is not to be missed! 🍺
