My sister and I hit The Spice Lounge in Littleport tonight.
Friendly service in a very homely decorated Indian restaurant. The service was friendly and efficient.
Sadly the food, though nice enough, was mild and a little watery. The saag aloo was soggy and the portions with the papadums and mains were all a bit stingy.
The prices of the food was all good, though the Indian beer was nearly £5 a pint. Ridiculous. They served Fosters Gold for £2 a bottle so I had to choke that down instead of an Indian beer in order to get a decent price.
I was glad to see a decent quality hot towel and an After 8 mint with my very reasonable bill.
