At the time of writing Juic’it Up was (and still is) a sponsor of our blog.
It was only back in August that I was last at Juic’it Up (click here for the full review). I thoroughly enjoyed their open and airy bar serving summery smoothies and fruity waffles. It is the perfect summer stop point while making tracks through the city.

I doubt it has escaped you that it is now getting much darker and colder with the winter rapidly approaching. For that reason, Juic’It Up have released new options to help fight the winter blues.

You’ll also be pleased to know that they now have patio heaters, so you can make the most of their open bar. I really enjoy this as it makes me feel more connected to the hustle and bustle of Mill Road without having to freeze.

I started off with a hot chocolate to warm up after coming in off the cold street. There is a selection of different types, ranging from black forest, ginger chocolate, hazelnut praline, vanilla chile, sated caramel, dark chocolate, and classic chocolate.

I was quite excited for their waffles. The one that stood out was the chocolate fudge. This came served in a cardboard box making it easy to pick up on the go but also less messy to eat if you decide to dine in.
I also saw cookie dough on the menu which looked like fun, though I decided to save that for my next visit.

The waffles are made fresh to order which fills the bar (and likely the street) with the gorgeous smell of waffles. You may have noticed in our previous review the the waffles were a little small. They have grown significantly since my last visit, taking up nearly the size of a pizza. The waffle has been generously covered in chocolate sauce and presented with a beautiful hot fudge center piece.

The patio heaters really pack a wallop and made sure I was nice and toasty. This gave a nice warm atmosphere but unfortunately made lighting a little challenging for photos. The photo above is courtesy of their Instagram page.

I also treated myself to some strawberries in melted white chocolate. These were quick, easy, and a much more fun way to reach my 5 a day š¤£. Perfect for someone like myself who is often on the go and needs a little encouragement to eat his daily fruit.

I also caught wind that they will soon be doing pancakes within the next week or so – watch this space! š
Make sure to pop by and check out Juic’it Up if you have a sweet tooth or are passing by Mill Road. You won’t be able to miss their bright shop lit up with neon signs located at the bottom of Mill Road bridge.
Thanks for reading.
