
I had a beautiful King Prawn dish at Montaz in St Ives tonight. Montaz is a place I’ve been to many times in the past and I’ve not been overly impressed with. Tonight however Montaz seemed to tick all the boxes.

The hot towel, the chocolate, the lime pickle, and naturally, the prawns were exceptional. The saag aloo was decent and the service was professional. All the prices seemed to be about right and I had no real issues with anything I experienced.

I also noticed that they have the “nager” on the menu too, which is rare.
